*** Note about the number of Palestinians, who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the Wet Bank: Palestinian Prisoners’ institutions reported that 662 Palestinians, including 39 children and 12 women, were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), during July 2025. The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), and Al-Dhameer Association for Human Rights stated in a report issued Sunday that the total number of kidnappings of Palestinians in the West Bank, since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has risen to more than 18,500, including over 570 women and about 1,500 children. In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

In remarks to El-Qahira News channel from Sharm El-Shaikh, El-'Hayya affirmed that the 'Hamas delegation “carries the goals and aspirations of the Palestinian people for stability, statehood, and self-determination.” “We appreciate the efforts made by Islamic and Arab countries, as well as by US president Trump, to bring about a complete end to the war,” El-'Hayya said. El-'Hayya highlighted that 'Hamas demands “real guarantees” to end the war, citing past experience with Israel during two previous ceasefires. He added that 'Hamas came to Egypt with the direct goal of ending the war, securing an Israeli withdrawal from the Strip, and carrying out a prisoner exchange deal. *** Number of Palestinian detainees in the Israeli occupation apartheid regime prisons surpasses 11,100 - Palestinian prisoners’ institutions RAMALLAH, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Palestinian prisoners’ institutions stressed that the total number of Palestinian detainees in the Israeli occupation apartheid regime prisons since the beginning of October 2025 had reached more than 11,100. They underlined in a joint statement, this is the highest number since the outbreak of Al-Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2000, based on documentary data available to relevant institutions. According to the report, 1,460 prisoners are serving sentences, including 350 serving life sentences or awaiting life-term verdicts. Among them, 'Abdullah El-Barghouthi is serving the longest sentence with 67 life terms, followed by Ibraheem 'Hamid with 54 life terms. There are 17-long-term prisoners who have been incarcerated since before the Oslo Accords, including Ibraheem Abu Mokh, Ibraheem Bayadsa, A'hmed Abu Jabir, and Sameer Abu Ni’ma, all detained continuously since 1986. Ibraheem Abu Makh, Ibraheem Bayadsa, A'hmed Abu Jabir, and Sameer Abu Ni'ma. The number of prisoners serving sentences between 10 and 20 years is 131, and those serving sentences between 21 and 30 years is 166. The number of female prisoners stands at 53, including three from Gaza, and two girls. The number of child prisoners is more than 400, held in Ofer and Megiddo prisons. The number of prisoners detained without trial, according to the Israeli Prison Service, is approximately 3,380, as of October. The number of administrative detainees reached 3,544, the highest percentage compared to the number of arrested and convicted prisoners classified as "unlawful combatants." The number of detainees classified as "unlawful combatants" reached 2,673. This figure does not include all detainees from Gaza held in Israeli military camps and classified as such. It is worth noting that this classification also includes Arab detainees from Lebanon and Syria. Before the onset of the ongoing war, there were around 5,250 prisoners in Israeli jails, including 40 women, 180 children, and approximately 1,320 administrative detainees. Y.S. *** UN official: $52 billion needed to rebuild Gaza Wednesday 8-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Jorge Moreira da Silva, Director of the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS), stated that $52 billion will be required to begin the reconstruction of Gaza once a ceasefire is reached. In a press briefing on Wednesday, da Silva noted that 80% of Gaza’s infrastructure has been completely destroyed. He emphasized that removing the rubble will be the first step in rebuilding the Gaza Strip. Earlier, the Government Media Office reported that the Israeli occupation army continues its brutal assault on the Palestinian people in Gaza, disregarding calls for a ceasefire made by US President Donald Trump, as well as the positive response given to the proposal. *** UNICEF: We’re shocked by the world’s silence over the killing of 20,000 children in Gaza Wednesday 8-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) James Elder, spokesperson for UNICEF, expressed astonishment at the lack of international action despite the killing of around 20,000 children in Gaza, including 1,000 infants. In press statements on Wednesday, Elder noted that one-third of births in Gaza are now premature, amid a severe shortage of neonatal care equipment. “Two years of hellish war have brought devastation to Gaza’s children. As many as 64,000 children have been killed or maimed across the Strip, including no less than 1,000 newborns. We don’t even know how many have died from preventable diseases or were buried under rubble,” he said. He stressed that the denial of food and incubators only worsens the already dire conditions for children and newborns. “Israeli authorities are ordering all residents of Gaza City, including thousands of children, to move south,” Elder added, “but people in northern Gaza have no idea where to go, and displacement zones are not safe.” He further emphasized that repeated forced displacement is intensifying psychological trauma and distress among children. “Everyone knows that rebuilding Gaza’s future depends on raising an educated generation. Education is the key to the future,” he concluded. *** Gaza municipality warns of unprecedented famine if Israeli siege continues Wednesday 8-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Gaza municipality issued a dire warning on Wednesday, cautioning that a catastrophic humanitarian disaster is imminent in the city. It stressed that the continued Israeli siege and full closure threaten to trigger a famine “worse and more severe than ever before,” amid the total disappearance of basic goods from the markets and a lack of cash flow. “Hundreds of thousands of residents remain inside the city, but the markets are nearly empty, and what little goods remain are extremely limited and priced far beyond the purchasing ability of citizens,” the ministry added. It added that the worsening cash crisis is compounding the situation, as there is no liquidity even to secure the most basic daily needs. Earlier, the municipality had appealed to the world to protect the approximately half a million people in the city and ensure their access to essentials like food, water, medicine, and care. Local and international estimates suggest that around 500,000 civilians, most of them children, women, and the elderly, are living under extremely harsh humanitarian conditions in Gaza City. According to the municipality, residents suffer from acute food shortages, lack of clean water, no access to basic healthcare, and relentless bombing and destruction. These warnings come amid the continued Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip since the outbreak of aggression on October 7, 2023, which has led to the widespread destruction of infrastructure and the collapse of vital sectors, including healthcare, water, and municipal services. Now entering its third year, the war has cut off adequate deliveries of food and medical aid to Gaza, as UN reports show a large portion of the population suffers from “severe food insecurity” and warn of a total collapse of the humanitarian system in the region. The Gaza Center for Human Rights has also raised alarms about the expanding famine and worsening humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza Governorate, which shelters over 300,000 displaced Palestinians. The center reports food has vanished from the markets, and families have exhausted their limited reserves, as Israel continues to enforce a total closure of the Zikim crossing and block the movement of goods and civilians from central Gaza to Gaza City. “We have received dozens of complaints from residents reporting that food is no longer available and that they’re struggling to find sources of sustenance due to the intensified Israeli siege and ongoing military assaults. The occupation forces are also continuing efforts to forcibly displace residents toward central and southern Gaza,” the center said. The center emphasized that this humanitarian collapse is happening while negotiations for a ceasefire continue in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, yet the situation on the ground is rapidly deteriorating. It further warned that tying the entry of humanitarian aid to the outcomes of political negotiations is a grave violation of international law. Food, water, and medicine are inalienable rights, not bargaining chips. The center noted that since 12 September 2025, Israeli forces have closed the Zikim crossing, a critical route for bringing food into northern Gaza. As a result, all food shipments to hundreds of thousands of residents in Gaza City and surrounding areas have stopped. It also stated that since October 1, Israeli forces have blocked Al-Rasheed Street (the coastal road), preventing people and goods from moving north from southern Gaza—bringing commercial and humanitarian supply routes to a near-complete halt. This breakdown comes before any recovery from the ongoing famine, which the United Nations officially declared on August 22, 2025, as a man-made famine orchestrated by Israel in the governorate. The statement also revealed that in September, Israel’s rejection rate for UN humanitarian missions tripled, with 26% of 478 missions denied, compared to 8% in August. Missions heading to northern Gaza faced a 52% rejection rate following the closure of Zikim crossing. “The continued famine in Gaza, despite international awareness of the scale of the catastrophe, reflects a massive moral and legal failure by the global community. It exposes a deliberate strategy of using starvation as a weapon of war to subjugate the civilian population, constituting part of an ongoing genocide against Palestinians.” It called for the immediate de-politicization of humanitarian work and the flow of food aid, along with the establishment of an urgent international monitoring mechanism to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of food, medicine, and water to Gaza City and other areas besieged by Israeli forces. *** Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate submits petition to the UN, condemning media genocide in Gaza RAMALLAH, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate organized a march in Ramallah on Wednesday to commemorate the second anniversary of the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and to condemn what the Syndicate described as the "media genocide" perpetrated by the occupation against Palestinian journalists and media outlets. The march set off from the Ramallah Cultural Palace Square toward the United Nations headquarters, with the participation of hundreds of journalists, local and international media workers, and representatives of human rights organizations. Participants carried coffins, pictures of slain colleagues, and slogans condemning the occupation's crimes and calling on the international community to halt the aggression and allow international and Arab journalists into the Gaza Strip. A delegation from the General Secretariat of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate delivered an official petition to the United Nations mission in Ramallah, demanding effective international protection for Palestinian journalists, holding the occupation leaders accountable for their crimes against the media and its workers, and considering what happened in Gaza "the first media genocide in the history of humanity." Nasser Abu Bakr, head of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, said that the suffering of journalists in the Gaza Strip has reached a stage of genocide, unprecedented in human history. 252 journalists, including 34 women, have been killed. He added that the occupation is committing systematic crimes by decision of the Netanyahu government and its military brass, who commit crimes against journalists daily. Since the beginning of the aggression until this month, 153 journalists have been arrested. He pointed out that the occupation army has destroyed more than 150 media offices and institutions since 2023. In the West Bank, the occupation has committed more than 2,000 attacks against Palestinian and international journalists, and the world continues to fail to stand by journalists. He continued, "All the words are not enough to reflect the role of journalists in Gaza, who sacrificed their lives and willingly continued their coverage under the bombardment of aircraft and tanks." For his part, Wasil Abu Yousuf, member of the PLO Executive Committee and coordinator of national forces and factions, said that Gaza has been subjected to genocide for two years, and that there are more than a thousand checkpoints cutting it apart in the West Bank. This war would not have continued without the silence of the international community. He added that the occupation in Gaza is trying to prevent the truth from being conveyed. Journalists are the guardians of truth and have always been at the forefront of reporting the occupation's crimes. This war must stop. He added, "We are confronting the occupation on the ground and at the heart of the political program to end the occupation and colonialism." In a speech on behalf of the unions and federations, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Writers and Authors Union, poet Murad El-Soudani, said that Gaza is experiencing a cultural and social genocide, in which journalists who convey the truth are being premeditatedly and deliberately assassinated. He added that more than 50 members of the union, including writers and authors, have been martyred amidst a disturbing and shameful silence. He called on all relevant institutions to stop the massacre and bloodshed in Gaza, which the occupation has turned into a barren desert. He emphasized that Palestinian journalists have always been at the forefront, affirming the strength of the Palestinian media. For his part, UN advisor Basim Khalidi said that journalists were victims of the insane war on Gaza, noting that the United Nations has always affirmed that Gaza is an integral part of the Palestinian state and that it will rise and develop toward statehood. Y.S. *** ****** Gaza death toll reaches 67,183 since start of Israeli aggression in October 2023 - Medical sources GAZA, October 8, 2025 (WAFA, PIC) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 10 bodies and 61 injured individuals were brought to hospitals in Gaza during the past 24 hours. Thus, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 67,183, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 169,841 others have also been injured. During the past 24 hours, over 11 others have been injured while attempting to receive humanitarian aid. This brings the total number of aid seekers killed in aid-related attacks to 2,613, with over 19,164 others wounded. Since the Israeli occupation apartheid regime broke the ceasefire on March 18, 2025, a total of 13,588 Palestinians have been killed and 57,800 injured. This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews. According to local media sources, Israeli forces continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and tents and displace families across the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine. According to media and medical sources, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, killing at least 10 civilians and wounding over 60 others in the past 24 hours. More casualties were reported in the last few hours following Israeli attacks in different areas. The bodies of two civilians martyred in a previous strike in Gaza City were recovered and transported to Al-Shifa Hospital. Other Gazans were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks, according to Gaza’s health ministry today. *** Civil Defense: IOFs continue bombing Gaza with booby-trapped vehicles despite Trump’s statements Wednesday 8-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Gaza General Directorate of Civil Defense revealed that Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) continue to target residential neighborhoods in Gaza City with booby-trapped vehicles loaded with large amounts of explosives, despite US President Donald Trump’s call to halt the bombing of the Strip. In a press statement on Wednesday, the directorate said that the IOFs use around ten booby-trapped vehicles daily to blow up homes and residential blocks in the Al-Nasr, Shaikh Radhwan, and Al-Daraj neighborhoods, in addition to heavy use in Tel El-Hawa and Al-Sabra, all neighborhoods in Gaza City. It explained that these explosions cause complete destruction within a radius of at least 300 meters, with damage extending beyond 500 meters, while shrapnel reaches distances exceeding one kilometer, leading to severe injuries among civilians, including displaced persons and patients inside hospitals. The Civil Defense noted that the explosions have reached deep into Gaza City, less than 200 meters from the vital Al-Thalatheeni Street, directly targeting civilian areas and infrastructure with no regard for the presence of civilians. The directorate stressed that the IOFs use of such methods “constitutes a dangerous precedent in the history of modern warfare and a blatant violation of international laws prohibiting attacks on civilians,” holding the international community responsible for its silence toward these crimes, which it described as “a tacit encouragement for further killing and destruction.” It called on relief organizations and human rights and media bodies to document these violations and take urgent action to protect civilians and ensure safe passage for rescue teams and medical crews in targeted areas. *** PGMO: The Israeli occupation forces killed 118 Palestinians in Gaza, in four days Wednesday 8-October-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza reported that the Israeli occupation forces carried out more than 230 aerial and artillery attacks on densely populated areas across the Gaza Strip from the early hours of last Saturday, October 4, until the end of Tuesday, October 7. These attacks claimed the lives of at least 118 civilians, including women and children, with 72 of the victims killed in Gaza City alone, according to PGMO on Wednesday. PGMO accused the Israeli occupation regime of flouting all international calls for de-escalation and persisting in its systematic killing of civilians and its destruction of all aspects of life in the Gaza Strip. PGMO called on the US administration and the international community to take serious and urgent measures to stop Israel’s aggression and put a real end to its war on Gaza *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Illegal Israeli settlers kill a Palestinian young man and injure three others near Ramallah RAMALLAH, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the armed illegal Israeli settlers on Wednesday evening killed a Palestinian young man and injured three others, in Dair Jareer village, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The Ministry announced that Jihad Mu'hammed 'Ajaj, 26, succumbed to his critical wounds after being shot by the illegal Israeli settlers in the town. It added that three others sustained moderate to serious injuries from the settlers' gunfire in the town, noting that they were all rushed to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah. According to Fat'hi 'Hammad, head of Dair Jareer Village Council, an armed colonist hurled stones at Palestinian-licensed vehicles on the road linking the village to Silwad. He added that the illegal Israeli settler opened fire afterwards at several youths who approached him, injuring four, including 'Ajaj. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its medics had provided first aid treatment to 'Ajaj, who was shot by several bullets, before rushing him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. It added that among the three casualties, one sustained a live round injury in the thigh and another in the abdomen. According to the statistics of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, 'Ajaj’s death brings the total number of Palestinian civilians killed by Israeli colonists since the beginning of 2025 and since October 7, 2023, to 13 and 34, respectively. K.F. *** IOFs detain, kidnap dozens of Palestinians in W. Bank raids Wednesday 8-October-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) detained and kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and Wednesday morning. According to local sources, the IOFs stormed El-'Arroub refugee camp in northern El-Khaleel (Hebron) and detained over 50 citizens following raids on homes. The sources said that the IOFs assaulted the detainees, blindfolded and handcuffed them, then herded them into El-'Arroub Social Youth Center, where they were subjected to lengthy interrogations before being released. The Israeli occupation soldiers also opened fire at civilians after they left a mosque in the refugee camp and beat a number of them. A teenager was reportedly kidnapped during an IOFs raid in Bait Ummar town in northern El-Khaleel (Hebron). In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), another citizen was kidnapped by Israeli occupation forces from his home in Bait Fajjar town. In Toulkarm, the IOFs kidnapped two brothers after ransacking their home in the southern neighborhood of the city. In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the Israeli occupation apartheid regime police forces stormed 'Hizma town and kidnapped a father and his son as well as a child and his uncle following violent raids on homes. 8 kidnapped. *** Israeli occupation forces shoot, seriously injure a Palestinian near Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupying forces on Wednesday evening shot and seriously injured a Palestinian man in Al-Ram town, north of the occupied West Bank city of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS). PRCS said that its crews provided first aid treatment to a man who sustained a live gunshot injury in the thigh after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces in the town. The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that the man was admitted to a Ramallah hospital in serious condition. The Israeli occupation forces chased several Palestinian workers near the section of Israel's apartheid wall and opened fire on them, resulting in serious injury. K.F. *** A Palestinian man sustains injury from the Israeli occupation army fire near Nablus NABLUS, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man on Wednesday evening sustained an injury from the Israeli occupation army fire in 'Huwwara town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to medical sources. They said that a Palestinian was injured by a live round in the foot shot by the occupying forces in the town. Local sources added that the occupation forces stormed the town and fired a barrage of live ammunition, tear gas, and sound bombs at the inhabitants, triggering confrontations and resulting in one casualty. The Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents. These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in line with its broad and arbitrary powers. Under the Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised. K.F. *** Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces block El-Shuhada checkpoint in El-Khaleel (Hebron) El-Khaleel (Hebron), October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces on Wednesday blocked the military checkpoint at the entrance of El-Shuhada Street in the Old City of El-Khaleel (Hebron), according to WAFA correspondent. He said that the gun-toting soldiers sealed off the checkpoint, denying Palestinians access to their houses in Tel Rumaida neighborhood and on the a-Shuhada Street. He added that the checkpoint was sealed off to facilitate an encroachment by Israeli colonists onto Al-'Haram Al-Ibraheemi Mosque and several neighborhoods of El-Khaleel (Hebron). Earlier today, the occupying forces closed the Ibraheemi Mosque to Palestinians until Thursday evening, under the pretext of Jewish holidays. They have tightened military measures around the mosque and in the Old City, sealing off all checkpoints and electronic gates leading to the mosque and deploying at all entrances to secure colonists' access to the city and archaeological sites under the pretext of celebrating Jewish holidays. The occupying forces have been imposing a curfew for the third consecutive day on the Jabir, Salayma, Ghaith, and Wadi El-'Husain neighborhoods adjacent to the Kiryat Arba colony, built on Palestinian land and property, east of El-Khaleel (Hebron). Earlier today, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu, among others, stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque and performed dances in its courtyards, undr the pretext of celebrating the second day of what is called the “Feast of Tabernacles”. The city of Hebron, which houses the Ibraheemi Mosque, is home to roughly 160,000 Palestinian Muslims and about 800 notoriously aggressive Israeli colonists who live in compounds heavily guarded by about 1,500 Israeli troops. Israel has expelled the only international monitors protecting Hebron’s Palestinians from 800 heavily guarded colonists, one of whom committed the 1994 massacre that triggered their deployment. Thirty-one years ago, Israeli colonist Baruch Goldstein broke into the Ibraheemi Mosque and opened fire at Palestinian Muslim worshippers, killing 29. Four Palestinians were killed on the same day in the clashes that broke out around the Mosque in response to the massacre. In the aftermath, the mosque was divided into two parts, with the larger part turned into a synagogue, while heavy scrutiny was imposed on the Palestinians and areas were closed completely to them, including an important market and the main street, Shuhada Street. The Islamic Awqaf Administration in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) said that 1,300 of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the morning of the second day of the Sukkot holiday. According to Jerusalemite media sources, dozens of settlers performed dances and songs at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s gates and during their tours of its courtyards, while others, including Ben Gvir, performed Talmudic prayers in the eastern area of the holy site. The Israeli occupation police carried out extensive security measures around the sacred Islamic site and in the Old City of Jerusalem, deploying substantial numbers of forces to facilitate settlers’ violations. Israeli officers escorted settlers as they moved through the Mosque’s courtyards, creating a tense atmosphere in the historically sensitive site of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). Meanwhile, Muslim worshipers were denied entry to their Islamic holy site during the settler tours, while many others were unable to enter the holy city or move in its streets. On Tuesday, over 530 settlers defiled Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards on the first day of the Sukkot holiday. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack a Palestinian woman in northern Jordan Valley JORDAN VALLEY, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Wednesday attacked a Palestinian woman in Khirbet El-'Hadeediya in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a local activist. 'Aqraba Mayor, Sala'h Jabir, said that dozens of the armed illegal Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, attacked olive pickers in the Qarqafah area south of the town. Residents confronted them, leading to clashes during which Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters. A foreign activist suffered from suffocation due to toxic gas fired by the occupation army. In a related context, the illegal Israeli settlers also stole olives from the lands of Burin, south of Nablus. They stole olives from the lands surrounding the home of Umm Ayman Soufan, adjacent to the Yitzhar settlement. The home is subjected to daily harassment by colonists, with the aim of forcing the family to leave the area. During the annual olive harvest season, Palestinian lands are subjected to repeated attacks by colonists and the occupation army. Farmers constantly face attacks and violations that prevent them from accessing their lands, leading to significant material losses and exacerbating their daily suffering under the Israeli occupation. Since October 7, 2023, attacks by the armed illegal Israeli settlers and the Israeli occupation forces have uprooted, destroyed, and damaged a total of 48,728 trees in the West Bank, including 37,237 olive trees, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission. Y.S *** An illegal Israeli settler attempts to ram vehicle into children south of El-Khaleel (Hebron) El-Khaleel (Hebron), October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – An illegal Israeli settler on Wednesday attempted to ram his vehicle into several Palestinian children in Masafir Yatta, south of the occupied West Bank city of El-Khaleel (Hebron), according to an activist. Osama Makhamra said that an illegal Israeli settler made two separate attempts documented in video footage to run over several children while the latter were in front of their families’ houses in Shi‘b El-Butum, one of the hamlets making up Masafir Yatta, but they miraculously survived the attempted attack. The same illegal Israeli settler attempted to run over two Palestinians on a roadside in Khallet El-Dhabi‘ before fleeing the scene. Meanwhile, armed colonists hurled stones at Palestinians’ dwellings in 'Huwwara, east of Yatta, and attempted to take over a dwelling, but the they were repelled by the inhabitants. K.F. *** Illegal Israeli settlers steal olive harvest and equipment near Toulkarm TOULKARM, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Wednesday stole the olive harvest and equipment of the farmers of Shoufa village, southeast of the occupied West Bank city of Toulkarm, according to a farmer. 'Isam Abu 'Ulayya told WAFA that three colonists driving quad bikes broke into the the villagers’ lands in the southwestern part of the village, forced olive harvesters to leave, and seized their olive harvest, tools, and mobile phones. He added that the assailants came from a pastoral colonial outpost established just 500 meters away from the village. He noted that the colonists of this outpost have been closely monitoring the villagers, encroaching upon their olive groves, and expelling them, with such attacks becoming recurrent in an attempt to take over more land to make room for colonial settlement expansion. With more than 12 million olive trees planted across 45% of the West Bank’s agricultural land, the olive harvest constitutes one of the biggest sources of economic sustainability for thousands of Palestinian families. According to UN OCHA, the olive oil industry supports the livelihoods of more than 100,000 families and accounts for a quarter of the gross agricultural income of the occupied territories. But, as local NGO MIFTAH notes, “olive trees carry more than an economic significance in the lives of Palestinians. They are not just like any other trees, they are symbolic of Palestinians’ attachment to their land.” “Because the trees are drought-resistant and grow under poor soil conditions, they represent Palestinian resistance and resilience. The fact that olive trees live and bear fruit for thousands of years is parallel to Palestinian history and continuity on the land.” Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
